Cluster Operators

Cluster operators are typically either lone IT professionals with a familiarity with Kubernetes and cluster management or larger organizations such as the data centers and Enterprises already providing some resources to Skynet. They manage the availability and performance of the infrastructure being provided to the Supercloud as well as aggregate the underlying hardware. Skynet itself provides the software to the clusters operators that they must use in order to join the protocol and this software is largely self healing to the support overead from Cluster Operators is kept very low.

At this time, Cluster Operators need to apply and be accepted by the DeCloud labs team to ensure the security and professionalism of the platform. This onboarding activity will be automated in future.
